Back Table Kitchen & Bar is a flavorful new addition to The Woodlands, treating guests to a relaxed dining experience that feels like a real escape from the every day. Back Table is a casually stylish, festive and family-friendly gathering place for seasonal, southern-inspired fare with global accents. Overlooking the 18th green and pond located on the wooded oasis of The Woodlands Resort, Back Table Kitchen & Bar features an outdoor terrace, The Back Porch, to enjoy year-round. An enclosed game room adds to the fun between courses, for the kids and kids at heart.

THE Chef

Jonathan Lestingi

An accoladed industry veteran, Lestingi brings national experience to Back Table Kitchen & Bar, including a chef de partie position under Patrick O’Connell at famed The Inn at Little Washington, the only 3 Star Michelin restaurant in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and the longest-tenured Forbes 5 Star and AAA Five Diamond restaurant in the world. For the past decade, he has been based in New Orleans, where he held sought-after culinary positions at destination dining spots such as Brennan’s, Red Fish Grill and James Beard Award-winning Willa Jean, before opening his well-received solo venture Oxalis – a stylish gastropub and whiskey bar in the hip Bywater neighborhood – as executive chef and owner. We were pleased to welcome Chef Jonathan to Back Table earlier this year.

Where the cocktails come with an inventive twist

Back Table’s hand-crafted cocktails are composed of elixirs and infusions made from garden herbs and spice, and fresh-pressed exotic ingredients from around the world. Sip on refreshing cocktails, local and micro brews, or New World wines while enjoying delicious small plates. The expansive Back Table Bar is the ideal place to grab a drink after a round of golf, unwind with friends or for any occasion.
